how can we see this scripture and then sit by while poverty ravages this world, while hunger strikes it's fatal hand daily, and while broken nations struggle to provide even the faintest promise of good health?
"All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them." Acts 4:32-34
We were meant to live this life together as followers. Providing for the needs that cannot be met alone. Being the hands and feet of Jesus.
this is our calling. to serve others, to give endlessly, to love unfailingly.
our call is to give.
